President Donald Trump's first post-COVID, in-person interview will come Friday night with Dr. Marc Siegel on Fox News' "Tucker Carlson Tonight."
Dr. Siegel "will conduct a medical evaluation and interview during the program," according to the report.
Trump has done two live telephone interviews with Fox News since being released from Walter Reed Medical Center, including Thursday night on "Hannity." The other was Fox Business' "Mornings With Maria."
Trump did stop to clear his throat once during the Hannity interview, during a brief pause when answering a question about the Commission on Presidential Debates sending a letter to him apologizing for adjusting his mic during a 2016 presidential with Hillary Clinton.
He has otherwise sounded healthy, in both telephone interviews and his video messages from Walter Reed and the White House, since he was treated for COVID-19 fever and congestion.
Dr. Sean Conley, the physician to the president, wrote in a memo released by the White House that Trump had responded "extremely well" to treatment without any evidence of adverse effects.
"Since returning home, his physical exam has remained stable and devoid of any indications to suggest progression of illness," Conley wrote. "Saturday will be day 10 since Thursday's diagnosis, and based on the trajectory of advanced diagnostics the team has been conducting, I fully anticipate the President's safe return to public engagements at that time."
