President Barack Obama has been accused of not being a Christian by some of his critics, but those critics typically accuse him of
being a Muslim.
Obama has repeatedly said he is a Christian.
Bill Maher, host of HBO's "Real Time," says doesn't believe Obama is a Christian either, but he thinks the president shares his own view: atheism.

"You know who's a liar about this is Obama," Maher said on Comedy Central's "The Daily Show." "Obama is always spouting spiritual bull----. I don't believe it for a second. He's a drop-dead atheist. Absolutely."
"No," Stewart protested. "How many years did he spend in Rev. Wright's church?" The host referred to controversial pastor Jeremiah Wright.
"He never went," Maher said. "He 'joined' because it was politically necessary."
Former Chicago City Council Alderman Toni Preckwinkle, a onetime Obama loyalist, told Ryan Lizza for a
2008 New Yorker article she believed Obama joined Wright’s Trinity United Church of Christ for political reasons.
