Longest Partial Lunar Eclipse of Century to Occur Next Week

The longest partial lunar eclipse of the century is set to take place between Nov. 18-19 and will be visible in all 50 states.

A forecast from NASA predicts the partial eclipse will last for 3 hours, 28 minutes, and 23 seconds. The eclipse is expected to start at 2:19 a.m. ET, and reach its prominence at 4 a.m. ET, and end at 5:47 a.m. ET.

According to Space, the eclipse is designated a Micro Beaver moon when the moon is furthest from the Earth; it also marks the beginning of beaver trapping season. You can get the exact timings of the eclipse at Time and Date.
