The search is on for a love child rumored to be the secret offspring of President John F. Kennedy and a stunning New York socialite.
Alicia Corning Clark — who once romanced such Hollywood studs as William Holden, Gary Cooper and Tyrone Power before a quickie marriage to a Singer Sewing Machine heir made her rich — died last February at the age of 79.
As lawyers figure out how to carve up her $17.5 million fortune, Leonard Boehner, the administrator of her estate, has filed a Freedom of Information request with the FBI asking for any files the agency may have on Clark,
DNAInfo's James Fanelli reports.
That's because of longtime rumors that Clark and Kennedy had a torrid affair that may have resulted in an illegitimate child — a development that could complicate how her money is divided.
Sealed court papers obtained by DNAInfo reveal claims that Clark once planned to leak juicy details of her JFK fling unless his father Joseph P. Kennedy coughed up $250,000. But she was said to have been talked out of the blackmail scheme.
