5 Firefighters Taken Hostage in Georgia

A gunman has barricaded himself inside a home and is holding five firefighters hostage in Suwanee, Georgia, authorities say.

The firefighters were at the home Wednesday following a medical call when they were taken hostage, Gwinnett County Police Cpl. Edwin Ritter said, according to USA Today.

Police are unsure of the gunman’s motive.
