A second staffer at Fox Business Network has tested positive for coronavirus, Variety reported Saturday.
In a memo sent to workers that Variety obtained, Fox News Media executives Suzanne Scott and Jay Wallace said the employee’s direct co-workers and team have to self-quarantine for 14 days.
“In addition to taking every necessary precaution and following every protocol, we are deep cleaning all areas this employee was in contact with, in addition to the daily sanitizing and disinfecting that has been performed several times a day throughout all key areas of the building,” the execs wrote.
On Friday, Fox Business Network revealed its first coronavirus infection of an employee; on Friday night, viewers were told host Lou Dobbs was going into quarantine after an employee for the show tested positive.
Variety reported the newest sickened worker was last at the New York headquarters on March 16, and worked on the building’s 12th floor; the previous employee, who worked on the 20th floor, last worked on March 13.
