A Florida man was being held in prison Saturday for threatening to kill President-elect Donald Trump on Facebook.

Kevin Keith Krohn, 59, of Pembroke Pines, was arrested by U.S. Secret Service agents on Thursday night, The Sun-Sentinel reports.

He posted on Facebook: "I'm just glad Obama didn't take all our gunz! I see a good use for one now" above a picture of Trump, according to the report.

Krohn also allegedly posted a photo of a man holding a sniper rifle and captioned it "The EXPEDITER of Trump! He will never last long!"

When another Facebook user asked what that meant, agents said that Krohn responded: "Keep yer eyes open!" the Sun-Sentinel reports.

He faces a possible charge of threatening to kill the president-elect, which carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

Krohn's Facebook page has been removed, according to a Newsmax search on Saturday.

On Friday, U.S. Magistrate Judge Barry Seltzer in Fort Lauderdale ordered that Krohn be held until a bond hearing that was set for next Thursday, the Sun-Sentinel reports.

"Krohn became confrontational when asked if he made the statements threatening the PEOTUS," Secret Service agents said in court records. "Krohn declared any statements he made were an expression of his First Amendment rights."

When agents asked whether he had threatened Trump, they said that Krohn "began pacing in the yard, and in a loud voice said, 'Well then, arrest me.'"

According to Broward County arrest records, Krohn served time in state prison twice, for a drug offense and for driving with a suspended license, the Sun-Sentinel reports.
