Comedian Dennis Miller would like to see some regret from Obamacare architect Ezekiel Emanuel, rather than smug scolding of the failed website's critics.
"Where's the disappointment, for God sakes? Why do you scold us?" Miller said Wednesday on Fox News Channel's
"The O'Reilly Factor."
Emanuel argued that President Barack Obama told the truth when he said people could keep their doctors if they liked them – they'll just have to pay more.
Six million people have lost their healthcare, and people trying to sign up have had trouble ever since the Oct. 1 launch, Miller noted.
"Take a couple days and be disappointed," he said, adding, "The website is a sieve. I eliminated the middleman and just signed my power of attorney over to Julian Assange."
That last line was a reference to the website's lack of security for personal information.
GOP strategist Karl Rove earlier
told Fox News, "My advice would be stop letting [Emanuel] go on television to be the face of the program, because it ain't a very attractive face and voice."
Miller echoed that sentiment, saying, "He somehow as a salesman manages to make Willy Loman look like Ron Popeil."
