A recent
poll showing Americans don't trust each other is old news, Dennis Miller says.
"When did people ever trust each other?" the comedian and talk show host said Wednesday on Fox News Channel's
"The O'Reilly Factor."
"When they were sitting around the primordial ooze, if somebody eyeballed and gave stink-eye to your cudgel, you beat him over the head with it."
Host Bill O'Reilly suggested Americans did trust each other in the days of "Ozzie and Harriet."
"Those were hallucinations, Billy," Miller responded.
"This whole thing," he said, "about calling up an Obamacare navigator and giving your vitals over to somebody who got drummed out because they couldn't sit at the desk at ACORN?"
"We're a paranoid nation, Miller," O'Reilly said.
"As we should be," Miller said.
