Thursday, 17 March 2011 09:56 PM EDT

NEW YORK (AP) — Former President Bill Clinton's foundation plans to move most of its offices in Harlem to New York's financial district.

The General Services Administration, which oversees office space for former presidents, told The New York Times that Clinton will keep his office in Harlem even though the rest of The William J. Clinton Foundation will move.

The nonprofit foundation's move downtown was first reported by the New York Post on Wednesday.

The foundation will have more space in the new offices at 77 Water St and likely lower rent.

The nonprofit has been at 125th Street in Harlem for nearly 10 years.

The Times said the foundation did not return requests for comment on Wednesday.
