New Jersey Governor Chris Christie said school vouchers are needed to turn about poor systems, and the teachers’ union positions are “unreasonable.”

Christie, 49, a first-term Republican, said he wants a voucher test program passed by July 1.
New Jersey students’ diplomas “don’t represent what we tell them,” Christie said.
