President Donald Trump on Tuesday called on YouTube to unblock a video showing CNN anchor Chris Cuomo swearing and threatening a man who called him "Fredo," which was taken down shortly after its posting.

Cuomo, the brother of New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, was recorded Monday night having an altercation with a man who referred to him as "Fredo," in an apparent reference to Fredo Corleone the cowardly and idiotic brother from "The Godfather."

The news anchor became furious when a unidentified man approached him and called Cuomo "Fredo," which the man claims he thought was Cuomo's real name. Cuomo stated that calling a person of Italian heritage "Fredo" is equivalent to using the "n-word" or another slur.

The video was posted to YouTube by the channel "THAT's THE POINT with Brandon," before YouTube removed it for violating its policy against bullying.

President Donald Trump quickly took to the unidentified man's defense, tweeting, "I thought Chris was Fredo also. The truth hurts. Totally lost it! Low ratings CNN," and added, "put it back up. We are living with a Rigged & Fake Media!"

Cuomo tweeted Monday afternoon: "Appreciate all the support but – truth is I should be better than the guys baiting me. This happens all the time these days. Often in front of my family. But there is a lesson: no need to add to the ugliness; I should be better than what I oppose."
