Bob Beckel on Detroit: Only Muslims Grow There

Bob Beckel, resident liberal on Fox News Channel's "The Five," has more than once called on the United States to stop issuing student visas to Muslims until Islamic leaders condemn terrorism. 

On Wednesday, he had more to say about Muslims.

The "Five" panel was discussing Detroit's bankruptcy when Beckel finished the segment: "You know, the only thing that's growing in Detroit are Muslims."

"Oh, boy," co-host Dana Perino said.

"Well, we're going to leave it right there," Eric Bolling said as the group went to a commercial.

Later, the panel was discussing the resignation of MSNBC host Martin Bashir.

"Is he Syrian?" Beckel asked.

"Bashir, Bashir. I was just wondering whether it was his nephew or something," he said, referring to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
