Bill O'Reilly shot back at Comedy Central's Stephen Colbert, who last week mocked O'Reilly's idea of a
mercenary army to fight Islamic terrorists.
Colbert compared the idea to "mutant double ninja super-soldiers with laser nunchucks" and "an invisible bomb that only blows up bad guys."
O'Reilly on Monday countered, "Mr. Colbert and others of his ilk have no bleeping clue how to fight the jihad. They don't know anything, and when somebody gets beheaded, their reaction is 'Oh, that's bad!'"
But liberals such as Colbert don't have the ability to present any ideas of their own, O'Reilly said. Instead, being "completely vacant," they mock ideas that might have value, he said.
"In the world of the ideologue, where Colbert lives, solutions don't really matter," O'Reilly said. "It's how you 'feel.'"
