Fox News host Bill O'Reilly has called for Dr. Tom Frieden to resign as head of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, but his Fox News colleague Greta Van Susteren does not concur.
O'Reilly made the demand on his show Monday because, he said, Frieden had shown a lack of candor in dealing with the Ebola crisis.
"I disagree totally with him. I think Dr. Frieden has done a good job, and you know, I want him to continue to lead this,"
Van Susteren said on her own show Tuesday as she interviewed Dr. Anthony Fauci, head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
"I think Bill O'Reilly's dead wrong on this one," Van Susteren said.
