The Agriculture Department’s $1.25 billion settlement of discrimination claims with black farmers is full of fraud, say three Republican lawmakers. They convened a news conference to announce that the settlement, which the White House supports, included people who were never even farmers,
The Hill Reports.

The trio consists of Reps. Michele Bachmann of Minnesota. Bob Goodlatte of Virginia, and Steve King of Iowa. The process to resolve the claims included "massive and widespread fraud and abuse,” Bachmann said.
And King said the Obama administration can’t cry ignorance on this one. “I think they have turned a blind eye to the fraud and corruption here," he said.
The trio urged Attorney General Eric Holder to investigate those receiving government money to make sure they really are farmers.
