Students in a political class at Arizona State University were allowed to protest President Donald Trump instead of taking a final exam.
The protest came after Professor Angeles Maldonado gave her students in the "Global Politics of Human Rights" course a choice of either taking a test or coming up with a class project.
The 20 students opted to stage a rally against the 45th commander-in- chief in front of the campus library.
Maldonado told The Arizona Republic her pupils "wanted to make their voices heard about the issues that are affecting them today."
Last week, the class stood shoulder to shoulder and held letters spelling out "Wall Against Hate!" to protest Trump's immigration policies and plan for a U.S.-Mexico border wall.
They also trumpeted their support of LGBT and women's rights.
