Actor-singer Zendaya has offered a modeling contract to a young woman she saw being body-shamed by a man on Twitter.
When Twitter user @StarpowerXCV decided to body-shame a young woman on Twitter Friday, he had no idea actress and singer Zendaya would see his tweets and offer the woman a modeling contract.
Although the tweets have been deleted, Twitter user @StarpowerXCV posted, “Never trust a top half posting a— female," with one picture of the woman’s face and then another showing her body, according to "Today."
In response, Zendaya said the woman was “fine as hell head to toe” and that she was sure the woman didn’t know the body-shamer existed. The star then posted, “Can we find her?” and said she’d love to the woman as a model for her clothing line.
Twitter followers did in fact find the woman, who posted she was "really speechless right now because becoming a plus size model has been my number one goal."
Zendaya’s clothing, which launched in November, has items from sizes 0 to 22 with everything priced under $158, according to the Daily Mail.
Apparently, @StarpowerXCV has posted other derogatory tweets after the one Zendaya saw, but his victim will be having the last laugh.
The 21,000 people who liked her photo montage apparently disagree with the body-shamer. This tweet sums up the cosmic justice of the situation:
