Zelda Williams, daughter of the late Robin Williams, has returned to Twitter three weeks after being harassed off the network by other users.
With a tweet that said a simple "Thank you," Williams linked to a quote by Tony award-winner Harvey Fierstein that read, "Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life; define yourself."

Her post appeared to respond to users who sent her unsavory, Photoshopped pictures of her father in the days after he reportedly hanged himself in his Northern California home,
AZ Central reported. That day, August 13, she asked other users to report the perpetrators disseminating the pictures, writing, "I'm shaking. I can't. Please. Twitter requires a link and I won't open it. Don't either. Please.''
Shortly thereafter, she announced that she would be cutting herself off from the app.
The fact that she was attacked was a real shame, as she had been thanking many of her father's fans for their kind tributes and charity donations in her father's name.
According to The Washington Post, Williams' negative experience led Twitter to alter its policies regarding images of deceased Twitter users.
"Immediate family members and other authorized individuals may request the removal of images or video of deceased individuals, from when critical injury occurs to the moments before or after death," the company wrote.
Zelda Williams' Instagram account remained locked in private mode after she returned to Twitter.
