Irish weatherman Deric Hartigan was blown away during an on-camera forecast when a gust of wind caught his umbrella, and his co-workers back in the studio couldn't help but laugh.
The wind grabbed Hartigan’s umbrella Friday morning while he stood outside delivering the weather and swiftly blew him out of camera range. He gave a little yell as he disappeared from view, which made his colleagues hysterical with laughter.
“He’s OK,” they told viewers in between giggles.
When Hartigan came back on camera, he held his broken umbrella, turned inside out and ripped apart by the wind, and joined the chorus of laughter.
The weather in Dublin on Friday was partly cloudy with wind gusts of up to 30 kilometers per hour (about 18 mph), Global News reported.
Hartigan is the morning weatherman for CNN affiliate TV3 Ireland.
Commenters enjoyed the footage of the weatherman being blown away and were thankful for the laugh.
"Derek from Ireland AM is doing a last minute audition for Mary Poppins," wrote on commenter on Ireland AM's Facebook post of the video.
"This is so funny and made me laugh this morning after a long & tiring night looking after my new born baby. Thanks for making me laugh deric and you made a great recovery," wrote another.
