There's no telling what was going through the mind of Canadian Meteorologist Kristi Gordon before she ran screaming off camera when she saw a giant spider crawling towards her during a live broadcast.
Several seconds into her weather report the spider, which appears to be at least two feet long and crawling straight for her, makes its appearance on the scenic shot behind her.
The spider is in reality crawling across a camera lens at a different location and is being projected onto the green screen behind Gordon.

Gordon's initial reaction was as if the giant spider was real and within inches of her head, running off camera while screaming, "Oh my gosh! That was creepy!"
Despite realizing the spider was off site at a different location, Gordon continues jumping around the set interrupting her report with multiple screeches.
"Oh of course he had to be right by my head," yelled Gordon. "Oh I just don't like that I gotta move [scream]."
Off camera we hear someone say, "Oh come on," to which Gordon responds, "no I hate it. I can't stand it."
Fellow newscasters at the Canadian news channel then reassure her, now nearly 30 seconds into the broadcast, that the spider is not in the room.
Gordon reappears shortly after, laughingly saying, "I am so sorry, OK, I gotta keep going here . . . You know what it just really creeps me out."
The video clip has since gone viral and received more than 4.8 million views on YouTube.
Gordon later confessed
to being "totally wimpy" on Twitter, the New York Daily News reported.
