Vandals Attack Office for Recall of Democrat

By    |   Monday, 18 April 2011 08:27 PM EDT

Police in Green Bay, Wis., are investigating a break-in at the headquarters of Recall Dave Hansen. The perpetrator smashed a window to get in, and made off with T-shirts, a computer and petitions.

The group is gathering petitions to force a rarely used recall election of Sen. Hansen, D-Wis., who was one of the lawmakers who left the state to prevent a vote during the recent state budget fight.

A group representative said it still has the minimum number of signatures necessary to force the recall.

Police have no leads yet in the case.
