The authenticity of the viral Tumba Ping Pong Show is being challenged on the Internet, but like WWE, a lot of people don’t seem to care if it’s real or not — it’s the entertainment that matters.
The Swedish group has posted seemingly insane ping pong tricks on YouTube for more than a year. And its latest one, which Yahoo calls “death defying ping pong awesomeness,” incorporates knife throwing and pineapple slicing that has many on social networking sites calling the group’s bluff.

Yahoo noted that hundreds of people on Reddit’s video forum have analyzed the latest video frame by frame. Some say they can spot a knife attached to a blonde girl’s paddle before the knife reaches it. Others insist that a ping pong ball hit into her mouth actually is a video of the girl spitting it out, only played backward with some deft editing.
But does it matter?
Other videos the group has done include hitting a hole in one on a golf course, using a paddle to slap an egg 20 feet away into a sizzling frying pan, and slamming a ping pall ball so it bounces off the walls in a hallway until it lands in the mouth of a man who is standing around the corner.
The group is comprised of a motley crew that go by the names of DJ Coolman, Mr. Sandman, Slightly Mad Max, Dr. Ders and Jokko-Yxxi. In an interview with The Huffington Post, Slightly Mad Max maintains the group went through training by a life coach named Meng Peng in Ban Krut, Thailand.
“We always perform our stunts with the maximum safety, but of course, it happens that people get injured,”
he told The Huffington Post. “But the fear keeps us focused and our minds in balance. Our biggest goal is to entertain, and do things no one else even dreamed about and we intend to continue.”
