Tracy Morgan's estranged wife, Megan Wollover, is seeking sole custody of their 7-year-old daughter, Maven.
In her divorce filing, which was obtained by Page Six, Wollover requested that she be granted full legal and physical custody of their daughter and that Morgan pay her alimony per their prenuptial agreement. Wollover further requested that Morgan pay her legal fees and continue to support Maven.
Morgan is asking for joint legal and shared residential custody of Maven, as well as allocated parenting time that is "in the best interests" of their daughter, according to his filed response.
Last month it emerged that the couple was splitting after five years of marriage. Both parties confirmed the news in separate statements to People.
"Sadly, after nearly five years of marriage, Megan and I are filing for divorce. This is a challenging time for all involved, so I ask that you please respect our privacy," Morgan said.
A representative for Wollover said she had filed for divorce. Wollover cited irreconcilable differences as the cause of their divorce.
"This is a private matter for the family. Megan's primary focus remains the best interest of the parties’ daughter. She asks that the family’s privacy be respected during this difficult time," the representative said.
Morgan and Wollover tied the knot in 2015, months after the "30 Rock" star was involved in a highway crash that left him fighting for his life.
Morgan was traveling in a limo with several friends when a Walmart truck slammed into their vehicle. One person was killed, and three others were injured, two seriously. Morgan spent several weeks in a hospital and in rehab. After fourteen excruciating months, he wed Wollover in an intimate ceremony.
