National Security Adviser Tom Donilon says President Barack Obama was not sure Osama bin Laden was in the Pakistan

compound where he was killed, according to
Politico.
“And at the end of the day, the president assessed that the — that it was a circumstantial case, and it was probably a 50-50 chance that Osama bin Laden was there. But what he had 100 percent confidence in was the ability of our special forces to execute the mission," Donilon said Sunday on CNN's "State of the Union.”
Donilon also said bin Laden did not indicate he was prepared to surrender to the Navy SEALs who raided his compound.
He also dismissed questions about whether the Arab world had significant concerns about the U.S. operation.
