Comedian Chris Rock announced his support for President Barack Obama during a podcast with fellow comedian Marc Maron saying that he is “fine with the president” because he understands that until he is elected to a second term, he has to refrain from implementing aggressive policies, reports
Politico.
“There’s an art to the first term because you’re always running for a second term the whole time,” Rock said. “It’s like Clinton’s first term. You can’t really do your gangsta s*** until your second term . . .”
Rock went on to acknowledge his, and fellow Obama supporters’, frustration with the president thus far.
“I’m like everbody, I want more action. But I understand that he’s trying not to piss off a lot of people,” Rock said. “But I believe wholeheartedly if he’s back in, he’s going to do some gangsta s***.”
