A serial shooter in Phoenix suspected of killing seven people has struck again, aiming his ninth shooting at a vehicle carrying a 21-year-old man and a 4-year-old boy.

No one was injured in the July 11 shooting, which police confirmed Wednesday was tied to the earlier shootings, The Arizona Republic reported. It happened in a residential neighborhood in the 3000 block of East Oak Street in Phoenix.

This shooting was the latest since two women and a 12-year-old girl were shot while seated in a parked car outside a home near the 6300 block of West Berkeley Road. All three died.

The reward for information leading to the shooter's arrest was raised from $30,000 to $50,000.

The shooter reportedly left the scene of the July 11 incident in a dark-colored BMW, ABC 15 reported. The shooter is thought to also have access to a white Cadillac or a Lincoln-type vehicle.

Police say the shooting spree began on March 17. The incidents occurred mostly at night in the low-income area of Maryvale, and many victims were standing outside their homes. The weapon is a semi-automatic handgun, CNN reported.
