Connecticut parents decided to have their daughters arrested after returning home early from vacation and finding the teens hosting an alcoholic party at their home.
About 15 to 20 youths were in attendance, according to The Hartford Courant.
The girls, aged 15 and 16, face charges of
"permitting a minor to possess alcohol," according to WFSB-3 Connecticut.

The teens hosted parties on Oct. 11 and 12, a police agent said, and tried for a third on Oct. 13, one day before their parents were expected to return, the Courant reported.
Alcohol is the most commonly abused drug among young people in the U.S. and
causes of more than 4,700 deaths annually, according to the Centers for Disease Control. The CDC also said that people aged 12-20 years drink 11 percent of all alcohol consumed in the U.S.
