Olivia Newton-John has a health update for fans who have followed her battle against cancer during the last few years. In an interview with People, the "Grease" star said she is "feeling great" and ready to take on the world. Newton-John will be releasing a duets album soon and is also counting down the days until her daughter Chloe Lattanzi gets married. Looking to the future, the 72-year-old said she felt "blessed."

"I'm so lucky to still be doing all these things," she told the outlet. "I don't think I imagined living this long! I feel very blessed."

Newton-John was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992 and underwent a partial mastectomy and reconstruction. She was diagnosed with breast cancer again in 2013 but managed to fight it. Then, in 2017, it returned. The disease eventually spread to her bones and forced the actress to have to learn to walk again after she fractured the base of her spine in 2018.

The actress and singer has been open about experimenting with medicinal cannabis as a complementary treatment. Speaking with People, she praised her husband John Easterling, who helped make it accessible to her.

"I'm very lucky to be married to a wonderful man who is a plant medicine man, and he has great knowledge," she explained. "Now he's growing medicinal cannabis for me, and it just has been wonderful. It helps me in every area."
