Melissa Joan Hart accidentally locked her 2-year-old son in her vehicle on Tuesday, and had to call for backup to get him out.
Eyewitnesses told E! News that the actress who played "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" was on the way to the studio with husband Mark Wilkerson when they realized they'd locked the keys and their kid in the car.
Luckily, the couple booted up their AAA Auto Insurance and got a handyman on the scene pronto. Sliding a slim jim tool between the window and the doorframe like a classic Hollywood crook, the man was able to pop the lock open and free young Tucker.
"No harm was done and Tucker was rescued," said the eyewitness. "AAA was able to open the door quickly."
Almost immediately after the incident, the news hit Twitter, and pictures surfaced, confirming the narrative of the short drama.
Later, Hart also took to Twitter to confirm that Tucker was indeed no worse for the wear.
"Yes Tuck is fine after locking himself in our car for a few mins on tues. & yes I looked a lil' rough after just arriving home from a nite shoot & massive home construction!"
she tweeted.
She followed that tweet with a joke the next day.
