Melania Trump met a mini-me trick-or-treater at the White House on Monday, when President Donald Trump and the first lady handed candy out on the South Lawn.
The costumed youngsters included a young girl dressed like Melania Trump, the Washington Examiner reported.
The outfit was a nod to what the first lady wore during a visit to hurricane-ravaged Texas earlier this year, the Washington Examiner noted.
The girl wore a white shirt, black pants, and sneakers with aviator sunglasses and a black cap featuring "FLOTUS" emblazoned on it. The first lady grinned when she saw the costume.
About 6,000 children and adults attended the event, The Associated Press reported. They came from more than 20 school districts, military families and community organizations.
Cabinet members also joined in on the festivities, with Education Secretary Betsy DeVos, dressing as Ms Frizzle from "The Magic School Bus," and Veterans Affairs Secretary David Shulkin donning a head with a fake knife impaled through it.
The event followed a brief celebration in the Oval Office on Friday, when the president met children of White House reporters.
