Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet will offer themselves to the highest bidder as dinner companions as part of a charity auction to benefit DiCaprio’s environmental charity foundation and Winslet’s Golden Hat Foundation.
The annual auction will take place in St. Tropez, France, HuffPost reported, and the winner will get to dine with the pair in October or November in New York City.
The Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation has raised more than $80 million for environmental causes, and raised a record $45 million last year, People reported. Winslet is helping a young U.K. mother pay for cancer treatment through a GoFundMe page as part of her foundation, as well.
The charity auction is typically filled with celebrity guests and performers, and will have a special performance from Lenny Kravitz this year. Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo also will be honored with the New World Leadership Award for her efforts to make Paris living more sustainable, People reported.
DiCaprio and Winslet starred together in the blockbuster movie “Titanic,” which shattered box office records when it was first released 20 years ago. The two have remained friends since that time and have supported each others’ careers publicly.
The pair reunited in 2008 for the film “Revolutionary Road,” and when DiCaprio won a best actor Oscar in 2016 for “The Revenant,” Winslet tearfully cheered him on.
Although the two were never romantically involved, that hasn’t stopped Twitter fans from wishing.
