Lady Gaga is the new face of Dom Pérignon.

The Champagne maker has teamed up with the superstar to create limited-edition projects as part of a collaboration that the pop icon has described as an "artistic universe." The "Poker Face" singer announced the news Wednesday on social media.

"I am very excited to announce my collaboration with @domperignonofficial! Dom Pérignon and I are both driven by the need for creative freedom and we’re excited to share the Queendom with you, an artistic universe we created with my dear friend @nick_knight!" she captioned an image in which she is holding a 2006 vintage sparkling rosé.

Lady Gaga also posted a video to her Instagram account sharing the news and praising the Champagne house.

"Their tradition is centuries old, but they push their own boundaries and find ways to reinvent themselves completely," she said. "And I am thrilled that we will be able to celebrate this together."

Speaking with People magazine, Lady Gaga said the collaboration was about creation.

"I always thought Dom Pérignon was a model of what creation is all about," she said. "There is no rule, except one: To never stop reaching for the stars."

Recently, Lady Gaga also joined forces with Oreo to release a line of cookies inspired by her album "Chromatica." Oreo unveiled the bright pink cookies with green creme fillings in January.

"This collab is inspired by the world of Chromatica, where kindness rules all things," the singer said at the time. "I love these pink cookies with green creme, and hope they brighten your day as much as they do mine!"

Speaking about the Dom Pérignon limited-edition Champagne bottles, a rep for the company said details of where they will be sold will be released in upcoming months.

News of Lady Gaga's latest collaboration comes as her friend and dog walker, Ryan Fischer, continues to struggle with his health after being shot during the dognapping of Lady Gaga's two French bulldogs earlier this year. Days after being released from the hospital, Fischer had to be re-admitted after his lung collapsed.

"A doctor visit and x-ray followed, and soon after I was whisked to the same ER where I had been only a week earlier: my lung had collapsed, and air was filling up my chest cavity," Fischer shared in an Instagram post on Monday. "Along with accepting the news that I was about to be readmitted, several nurses and doctors told me how they had been in the room when I came in with my gunshot. How they didn’t think I was going to make it."

Fischer added that he was now focusing on healing and working through the trauma day by day.

"The journey is hard, it's assuredly painful," he wrote. "But I try. And somewhere within that I find the absurdity and wonder and beauty this life offers us all."
