The trailer for Kirk Cameron's new evangelical documentary "Unstoppable" is back online after YouTube and Facebook flagged it as spam and banned it briefly last week.
The former "Growing Pains" actor reached out to his online fan base last week to tell them that
Facebook had blocked him from posting the link, saying it considered such posts "'abusive, unsafe, and spammy.'"
"This is my most personal film about faith, hope, and love, and about why God allows bad things to happen to good people. What is 'abusive' or 'unsafe' about that?!" Cameron wrote on his own Facebook page. "Please help us encourage Facebook to unblock our website soon by sharing this post with your friends so more people can see this transparent, faith-building project."

YouTube also flagged the trailer and claimed it violated its policies against "spam, scams, and commercially deceptive content."
But after an outpouring of likes and shares, both social networking sites allowed the trailer.
"Because of your firm, loving, and clear voice, not only did Facebook welcome us back, YouTube also removed its block on our 'Unstoppable' movie trailer," Cameron wrote on Facebook. "We are back online with full access. Thank you!!"
Facebook maintains that its blocking of the trailer was simply a technical glitch and not intentional.
"To protect the hundreds of millions of people who connect and share on Facebook every day, we have automated systems that work in the background to maintain a trusted environment and protect our users from bad actors who often use links to spread spam and malware," the site said in a statement.
Facebook went on to say that the "Unstoppable" web link "was blocked for a very short period of time after being misidentified as a potential spam or malware site. We learn from rare cases such as these to make our systems even better."
"Unstoppable" hits U.S. theaters for a one-day showing on Sept. 24 and will feature a live Q&A with Cameron from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va.
