Kim Kardashian and Kanye West might be getting divorced but they appear to still have feelings for one another.
This was evident Tuesday when Kim said she would "love" West "for life" while paying tribute to him on his 44th birthday on Instagram.
"Happy Birthday Love U for Life!" she captioned a throwback photo of them with three of their kids: North, Saint, and Chicago West.
Khloé Kardashian also honored West on his birthday.
"Happy birthday to my brother for life!!! Have the best birthday Ye! Sending you love and endless blessings!!" she wrote in an Instagram post.
In February it emerged Kim had filed for divorce from West. She cited irreconcilable differences in the filing but sources have said the split was amicable and the pair remained on good terms.
"Their marriage has run its course, but their friendship and commitment to their kids has not," an insider told the U.K.'s Mirror earlier this year.
Another source previously told People that Kim did not want to hurt West, but things were not working out between them.
"She just knows she can't be married to him anymore," the insider said. "He is very aware that she has been a good wife. He still loves her very much. But he understands."
They might be on good terms but divorce is never easy and it has taken its toll on Kim, who broke down over her failed marriage in a flashback video clip aired on the latest episode of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians."
"I feel like a f**king failure, that it's like, a third f**king marriage," she said, according to Page Six. "Yeah, I feel like a f**king loser. But I can't even think about that like, I want to be happy."
The footage was filmed while Kim and West were still trying to navigate their problems. As she sobbed, Kim admitted West needed a wife who would support him by following him across states.
"I honestly can't do this anymore," she said. "Why am I still in this like, place where I'm stuck for years? Like, he goes and moves to a different state, every year, I have to be together so I can raise the kids, you know? And he's an amazing dad, he's done an amazing job."
Kim added, "I think he deserves someone that can go support his every move, go follow him all over the place and move to Wyoming — I can't do that. He should have a wife that supports his every move and travels with him and does everything."
