A man convicted of stalking "James Bond" star Naomie Harris was handed a restraining order and suspended sentence on Friday. The Wood Green Crown Court heard details this week of how Ii Ovisyonairo Ii, who has Asperger's syndrome, left the actress "absolutely petrified" after stalking her at her home, The Guardian reported.

The 37-year-old from Canterbury located Naomie by first making contact with her mother, Carmen Harris. Ii made arrangements to attend a Reiki healing session run by Carmen in October 2019. He then suggested he meet with Naomie on Nov. 11, a date which he was hoping to make their anniversary.

Ii was eventually able to track down Naomie at her north London home. He first sent her an 11-page letter the day before Valentine's Day, which was signed "with unconditional love from your compassionate companion."

Two weeks later, Ii arrived at the actress's house, leaving her "absolutely petrified," the court heard. Shortly after the incident, police were able to locate Ii at a farm in Kent. He was charged on March 3 and, in June, admitted to two counts of stalking Harris and her mother.

Ii was given a jail sentence of 21 months, suspended for two years. He was also ordered not to make contact with Naomie and Carmen. Furthermore, Ii is required to attend rehabilitation, adhere to a curfew, wear a GPS tag, and complete 300 hours of unpaid work.

Addressing Ii, Judge Noel Lucas QC said Naomie must have found it "very distressing" to find him on her doorstep.

"Both Naomie Harris and her mother are entitled to live their lives without being stalked," he added.

Metropolitan Police Detective Inspector Paul Ridley applauded the decision.

"The judge clearly recognized the high degree of planning, deeply troubling and unsettling behavior of the defendant," he said. "We are very pleased with this result, and that the defendant admitted his conduct. His offending really impacted upon the victims, who now ask for their privacy to be respected at this time."
