Hillary Clinton was repeatedly heckled at a town hall event in Derry, New Hampshire, on Sunday, refusing to answer one woman's persistent questions about past sexual accusations against her husband Bill Clinton.
According to ABC News, the woman identified herself after the event as New Hampshire State Rep. Katherine Prudhomme-O'Brien. She represents the local area.
"I was a Democrat, but I became a Republican because of this, because of this stuff. Because of what I saw happen in the Clinton years, the hypocrisy of so-called women that fight for women," she said, alluding to President Clinton's alleged assaults of Juanita Broaddrick and Kathleen Willey.
Prudhomme-O'Brien stood each time Clinton asked for questions, getting her word in at the small event of roughly 700.
After being heckled more than once, Clinton addressed Prudhomme-O'Brien.
"You are very rude, and I’m not going to ever call on you," she said.
The incident comes just a week after Clinton accused Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump of having a "penchant for sexism." The real estate mogul responded by saying her husbands infidelity and accusations against him are "fair game" during the race.
According to Politico, he has recently said Bill Clinton is "one of the great abusers of the world."
Prudhomme-O'Brien
penned a Facebook note after the event, explaining more about her thinking on the subject of the Clintons.
"Hillary believes Broaddrick was raped and that is why she will not discuss it in any sincere way. That is what drove me to do what I did today, my concern for sexual assault survivors," she said.
She also explained that she and Broaddrick had once spoken on the phone after Prudhomme-O'Brien asked former Vice President Al Gore about the accusation on television.
