Heather Locklear, just home from a psychological evaluation, got herself jailed again, this time for reportedly attacking a police office and EMT responding to a disturbance call, People magazine reported.
The incident took place Sunday night, while the 56-year-old was believed to have been "heavily intoxicated," prompting a family member to call 911.
Police arrived at the scene to find Locklear in an agitated state and, when they tried to intervene and separate her from members of her family, she allegedly punched the responding officer and kicked an EMT trying to put her onto a gurney.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ that this was the second time that day that deputies were called to Locklear's house.
The first call, also a domestic dispute, was placed at around 6 p.m. but police determined no crime had occurred.
Locklear was first taken to a hospital and then booked into jail where she was held on $20,000 bail facing charges of misdemeanor battery.
The arrest comes on the heels of another incident in which Locklear was hospitalized after reportedly threatening self-harm, Variety noted.
It is reported that Locklear's mother first called 911 claiming that her daughter was behaving erratically and threatening suicide.
Police confirmed the incident but did not release Locklear's name, instead noting that first responders were dispatched to attend to a "suicidal" person who was acting "violent," according to an incident report from the Ventura County Fire Department obtained by People.
Variety noted that Locklear was transferred to the hospital for a psychiatric evaluation.
Earlier this year Locklear was arrested on similar charges when she allegedly attacked three Ventura County Sheriff's deputies responding to a domestic violence call.
Locklear was arrested for felony domestic violence and three counts of battery on a peace officer.
Locklear, who has a history of drug and alcohol abuse, previously said she was making positive changes in her life and tying up loose ends.
"I am feeling great and am taking steps to enrich and better my life," she said, according to E! News.
