A foreclosure against Dina Lohan, the mother of actress Lindsay Lohan, has reportedly cost her the family residence, Lindsay’s childhood home.
The final chapter in an effort to retain the property came when a New York Judge ordered that it be sold at public auction within 90 days after Dina Lohan failed to respond to a foreclosure lawsuit, The Blast reported.
According to the publication, she owed $1,492,784.21 on the home as of Dec. 12, 2017.
The Lohan home difficulties began in 2013, when JPMorgan Chase sued the Lohan matriarch for foreclosure. When the parties worked out their differences, the lawsuit was placed on hold but not dismissed.
In October 2017, Lindsay Lohan reportedly gave her mother $40,000 for expenses associated with the property, according to Page Six.
But Dina Lohan was reportedly a no-show in court this week and failed to respond to pleadings when the bank brought its lawsuit back to life and asked to take the property back in a foreclosure.
Relations weren’t always good between mother and daughter. In 2012, police were called to the Lohan residence in response to an altercation between the two.
