Lindsay Lohan was bitten by a snake while on vacation in Thailand on Wednesday, the New York Daily News reported.
The 31-year-old actress shared the news on Instagram on Thursday, showing off the sweeping views of Phuket before focusing on the red bite marks on her ankle.
"Hi! I'm still in Phuket in Thailand, it's beautiful here and yeah I got bit by a snake on a hike the other day," she said, according to Fox News.
In a follow-up video Lohan said, "The positive side of it is, I'm OK. Happy New Year and God bless. Ciao," adding that her shaman said "it was good luck and positive energy so God bless."
Earlier this month Entertainment Tonight reported that Lohan had moved to Dubai and did not have any immediate plans to return to the U.S.
"I love living in New York, but I do love the serenity and peace that I find living in the Middle East because there are no cameras in Dubai and I can actually focus on what I want to do in life," she said. "I don't always have to be scrutinized every second. I can have a private life and have a public life, but when I choose to. And I think that's really important."
The actress was hit with a $100,000 tax lien earlier this week for money that she was owing in 2010, 2014 and 2015, the New York Daily News reported.
Sources close to Lohan said that the unpaid taxes were not her fault but as a results of a management firm that was controlling her income and taxes for those years, The Blast said.
