Indiana Sen. Dick Lugar says the United States should continue sending aid to Pakistan even though some intelligence or military

officials might have known Osama bin Laden was living there, according to
Politico.
Lugar, the top Republican on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that it is possible “a lot of people in Pakistan knew about his whereabouts."
Lugar, however, rejected calls that the United States should consider cutting off its foreign aid to Pakistan. "No, I don't see that at all," he said.
