There’s good news and bad news for Republican congressional fundraising efforts in the latest financial data for July.
The good news: the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) bests the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) when it comes to cash on hand and debt,
The Hill reports.
The NRCC has $11.3 million in the bank, besting the DCCC’s $8.1 million by a whopping 40 percent. And the NRCC has only $2.8 million in debt, 30 percent less than the DCCC’s $4 million total.
The bad news: the DCCC eked out a fundraising victory over the NRCC in July, with the Democrats pulling in $37.7 million, or 1 percent more than the $37.4 million garnered by the NRCC.
