New York Sen. Chuck Schumer says there is no disagreement between former President Bill Clinton and the Democratic Party on

the need to address Medicare and other entitlement programs,
Politico reports.
“There’s no difference between Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, Steny Hoyer, Chuck Schumer, Senate, and House Democrats,” Schumer said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press.” “The difference is between us and Republicans.”
Schumer warned that Democrats would fight Rep. Paul Ryan’s plan for deficit reduction, and he promised that the controversial proposal would be an issue in the next election.
If Democrats run on their opposition to Ryan’s Medicare plan, Schumer said he’s confident that “not only will we keep the Senate, but we’re very likely to pick up the House.”
