Channing Tatum appears to be processing his emotions through poetry as rumors intensify that his former fiancée, Zoë Kravitz, has moved on and may be engaged to pop star Harry Styles.
On April 27, the 46-year-old actor shared a piece by poet John Roedel on his Instagram Story, adding only the word "read" to guide his followers to the specific verses.
"My brain and heart divorced / a decade ago / about who was to blame about how big of a mess I have become / Eventually, they couldn't be in the same room together," the poem reads.
"Now my head and heart share custody of me," it continues. "They blame each other for the state of my life / there's been a lot of yelling — and crying / so, / lately I've been spending a lot of time with my gut / who serves as my unofficial therapist."
The poem describes how the "heart is always sad about something that happened yesterday," while the head is "always worried about something that may happen tomorrow."
"My gut smiled and said: / 'in that case, you should stay with your lungs for a while,'" it continues. "There is only breath / and in that breath, you can rest while your heart and head work out their relationship."
The poem concludes, "I packed a little bag and walked to the doors of the lungs / before I could even knock, she opened the door with a smile and a gust of wind embraced me, she said / 'what took you so long?'"
He shared the poem just days after The Sun published photos of Kravitz wearing a diamond ring on her left ring finger while on a coffee date with Styles in London.
The sightings have fueled speculation that the pair, who began their romance last year following Kravitz’s 2024 split from Tatum, may be planning to marry.
Tatum's history with Kravitz dates back to 2021, when the two began a relationship while collaborating on her directorial debut, "Blink Twice," E! News reported.
The couple became engaged in 2023, though the relationship ended in 2024 shortly after their film was released.
Despite the breakup, Kravitz expressed a sense of peace about their time together. Speaking to Elle last year, she noted, "I love this thing that we made together and I care for him very much."
She added, "I'm so happy that all happened. I just feel so grateful to go on that journey together."
While Tatum has not issued a formal statement about the end of his engagement or recent rumors surrounding his ex, he has moved forward in his personal life.
Last year, he confirmed his relationship with model Inka Williams at an Oscars afterparty, E! News reported.
