Cassandra Warren accidently sent a wedding invitation to the wrong address, so when it was returned in the mail with a $20 bill and a special note the bride-to-be was taken aback.

Warren, who is set to marry Jesse Jones in June, was in a flurry when she initially mailed the invite.

Aside from the stress that comes with planning a 200-person wedding, the 25-year-old was also dealing with the pressure of being at a crossroads in her professional life, The Washington Post said.

So, when she sent out her wedding invitations, which featured a quirky “fandom” corner containing "Star Wars" light sabers and a "Harry Potter" wand, she accidently jotted down the wrong address for her aunt and uncle’s home in Eugene, Oregon.

It made her day when the invitation was returned with “live long and prosper” scribbled on the envelope, cracking a nod to “Star Trek,” of which Warren and Jones are both fans.

The couple figured the person who received their invite noticed their “fandom” corner and gathered that they were both sci-fi fans.

“She assumed we’d understand her message, which we did,” Warren said, per The Salt Lake Tribune.

The receiver said the 20$ bill was for the engaged couple to go out and have dinner in celebration of their upcoming wedding, and even offered words of encouragement.

“I’ve been married for 40 years – it gets better with age,” the anonymous person wrote.

“It was kind of perfect timing. I was really grateful for it,” Warren said.

The couple later went out to dinner with a friend and used the $20 to pay towards their bill.

On their way home, Warren bought a thank-you card and sent it to the same, inaccurate address, with a note that said:

“Thank you for the note and taking the time to send it. Not many people would have done that. It was a big blessing after the day I was having. I am thankful for people like you still being in the world.”
