Casey Anthony, the Orlando mom who disappeared from the public eye after being acquitted of her daughter Caylee's murder in 2011, was reportedly spotted running a race in Lake Worth on Saturday, and is said to have settled down as a resident of West Palm Beach.
According to GossipExtra.com, it appears Anthony was participating in the Women for Women 5k/10k when someone in the crowd spotted her, and snapped a picture. That racegoer then circulated the photo on social media, and also sent the it over to the KVJ Show, a popular morning radio program on WRMF.
Florida state records show that Anthony, 29, recently obtained a new driver's license, and declared that she lives in a 2,000-square-foot house in the south-side Toledo neighborhood of West Palm.
Last summer, Anthony’s former defense attorney Cheney Mason told CNN that his client "has a lot of world left to have to deal with."
"She can't go to a beauty parlor, she can't go shopping to a department store, she can't go to a restaurant, she can't even go to McDonald's. She can't do anything," Mason explained, noting that much of the public doesn't trust her after her high-profile trial.
The Daily Mail reported that Anthony hasn't been seen in public for two years — since her bankruptcy hearing in March 2013.
In a February report this year,
RadarOnline discovered that Anthony "stiffed the attorney who got her acquitted (Jose Baez) a total of $397,000."
