Carrie Underwood made headlines this week after walking the red carpet in a white gown that showed off her baby bump at the American Country Countdown Awards in Nashville.

Underwood, 31, and husband Mike Fisher are expecting a boy this spring, The Huffington Post reported, calling the singer "gorgeous" and "stunning."

After appearing on the red carpet, Underwood changed into a flowing blue dress before preforming some of her hits.

"Underwood ultimately let the fashion and music do all the talking Monday night," E! Online wrote.

Underwood, who rose to fame in the early seasons of "American Idol," told Yahoo Beauty that she continues to eat a healthy diet during her pregnancy.

"I have been vegetarian for about 10 years now. With pregnancy, I am definitely going more on the vegetarian side, but as soon as I am not pregnant anymore I will go back to being vegan," she said. " I don’t think I am craving anything too crazy. I try to keep it as healthy as possible and try to take care of myself."

Images and comments about Underwood’s appearance made the rounds on Twitter.
