Blake Shelton addressed the rumors over the weekend that he and wife Miranda Lambert had split by poking fun at the gossip on Twitter.

Shelton, a country star and one of the celeb coaches on NBC's "The Voice," chose to laugh off the allegations made in the recent Life & Style cover story that he was cheating on his wife of nearly two years with a younger woman. Lambert, also a country singer, joined in on the fun as well.

This isn’t the first time the playful couple has taken to Twitter to debunk tabloid gossip. In November, when rumors were swirling that Lambert was pregnant, the singer tweeted, "Wow! I just read the headline! 'We are having a baby' yay! Blake Shelton, we're getting a new puppy?"

"Either that or Reese [Witherspoon] had my baby... I'm confused too!" Shelton tweeted back. "Look, I know I've gained some weight but the test was negative!"
