An Austin shooting left one woman dead and four wounded after a gunman fired into a bar crowd in the Texas capital, reported the Austin American-Statesman. A suspect was identified and was being sought.

Police issued a murder warrant for Endicott McCray, 24, in connection with the shooting that happened early Sunday on Sixth Street in the city's entertainment district. Relatives identified the woman killed as Teqnika Moultrie, 30.

Three people – two women and a man – were taken to University Medical Center Brackenridge.

Moultrie died at the scene, authorities told the newspaper.

Ricky Moultrie, Teqnika Moultrie's brother, told KVUE-TV his sister was visiting Austin to spend time with her fiancée.

"I'm assuming that they may have went to one of the clubs that are down there to enjoy the Austin nightlife or whatever, and this is what happened," Ricky Moultrie told KVUE-TV. "She had nothing to do with it, she's just not that type of girl."

Austin police reported a second shooting at a parking garage on Eighth and Trinity streets where a suspect was "taken down" by witnesses at the scene, reported KVUE-TV, but police determined that shooting was not connected with the first shooting on Sixth Street.
