An Alaska Airlines mid-flight streaker managed to run the length of a Boeing 737 bare naked before two tackled and locked in the restroom for the remainder of the flight from Seattle to Anchorage. The same thing happened a few months ago.
Former State Sen. Johnny Ellis, who was on the flight, said via Twitter that the unidentified naked man was "yelling and waving" as he ran from the front of the plane to the back before two passengers intervened.
Yahoo writer Daniel Roberts, who also happened to be on the flight, explained that the incident took place about 20 minutes before landing, and confirmed the streaker was detained in the restroom until the plane was grounded.
Alaska Airlines spokeswoman Bobbie Egan confirmed that a "disruptive male passenger" had been detained during the flight, but that the flight landed without further incident and law enforcement at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport waiting at the gate took the man into custody, The New York Daily News reported.
Egan explained that the passenger was then taken to a local hospital, although it is unclear what he was being treated for.
In February, an Alaska Airlines flight was forced to return to Anchorage after a naked passenger caused a commotion on the plane.
According to law enforcement, the passenger locked himself in the bathroom sans clothing.
